Help your dog into the car, without the jump.
Jumping into a boot is a big leap for a dog who's older, smaller or less sure of themselves, and lifting them isn't easy for you either. The PetLift Folding Dog Car Stairs give them a gradual climb up to the boot, with two angle settings so you can choose the one that suits your car and your dog. When you're done, the frame folds away to take up little space. It's a steady alternative to a dog car ramp, with steps instead of a slope.

Why dog owners choose it

• Four steps for a gradual climb up to the car
• Two angle settings: a steeper setting for tight spaces, or a gentler, longer one for an easier climb
• Sturdy black metal frame that suits any car interior
• Textured step surface for grip [confirm that it's non-slip]
• Folds away, so it can stay in the boot between trips
• Suits SUVs, estates and hatchbacks

Size and fit

Check your car first: measure from the ground to the floor of your boot, and compare it with the stairs' height at the setting you'd use. Choose the gentler setting if you have the space, as it gives a more gradual climb, especially for older or smaller dogs.

How to use
Set the stairs on level ground, right up against the car. Make sure they're fully unfolded and locked in your chosen angle before every use, especially for older or nervous dogs who lean on them for support. Supervise your dog while they use the stairs, and check the frame, hinges and straps regularly for wear.
